It's an interesting word, lovely. It can be almost generic, like fine, or great or cool ... but in my admittedly personal vocabulary, it really means something to say that a person is lovely, or that a performer is lovely, because it bespeaks radiance and even spirituality; and when person and performer are one and the same, it's even more significant. |

Additionally, she's a superb vocalist with an impeccable ear for timing and nuance. Lovely doesn't get much lovelier than that. |
